P.K. Saru, MA, LLB, TSTA(P) is a psychotherapist, trainer and consultant. She has a degree in Law and Masters in Psychology. She is an internationally accredited Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) in the field of psychotherapy. She is a Master Practitioner in NLP and has a Diploma in Child Development. She has over 15 years of experience as counselor, psychotherapist and trainer. She is the Managing Trustee of Centre for Holistic Integrated Learning and Development and the Director of Asha Counselling and Training Services.

Saru is the Convenor of the International TA Conference, 1997 and 2004. She has been the member of the Board of Trustees of the ITAA and member of the Board of Certification, T&C Council. She is the past president of the TA Study Circle of Coimbatore. She runs TA training groups in Coimbatore, Calicut and Bangalore.

C. Suriyaprakash was Assistant Professor in GRD Institute of Management, Coimbatore for nearly a decade. His specialties include Organizational Behavior and Services Marketing. He is Secretary and Voluntary Counsellor of Asha Counselling and Training Services, Coimbatore and Past-President of the Transactional Analysis Study Circle of Coimbatore. He was also the Co-chair of Training Standards Committee, Training and Certification Council of Transactional Analysts, Oakland, USA.

As Founder-Director and Facilitator of RELATIONS, and Certified Transactional Analyst with Organizational specialization, he has trained over 3000 managers, executives, factory employees, teachers, students, social workers and parents and logged over 8500 hours of teaching, training and consultancy using TA. His specialty in organizational development, with TA includes, creating awareness, team building, problem-solving, group dynamics, communication and motivation.

His professional mission is to help employees develop effective interpersonal relations to realize their capacity of autonomy for better Quality of Work life.

I.A. Mohanraj is Visiting Faculty in GRD School of Career Studies, Coimbatore. His specialty is Marketing and Sales Management. He is Treasurer and Voluntary Counsellor of Asha Counselling and Training Services, Coimbatore and Past-Secretary of TA Study Circle of Coimbatore. He is also Member, Nominations Committee of the International TA Association, Oakland, USA.

Dr. Ali Ansari

Dr. Ali Ansari is a professor of engineering and the founding President of Engineers Without Borders - India, a non-profit organization set up to provide voluntary engineering assistance to disadvantaged urban and rural communities. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and has taught at universities in U.S.A., Nigeria and India, including Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. He is also a literary writer and a workshop leader on personal growth and Counselling themes.

He is a Trustee of CHILD and a patron and well-wisher of Asha. He has done several ‘Encounter' workshops for the trainees and faculty of Asha, in the past.



Anjum Fawzia
Ahmedali

Anjum Fawzia Ahmedali is an architect in the United States and has been practicing architecture for the past seven years in the capacity of Project Architect. She was recently made an associate of her firm, the youngest woman to do so since the inception of the firm. Anjum has a Masters in architecture from Arizona State University and a BArch from The School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi. She completed her licensing examinations in 2002 and is currently a registered architect licensed to practice in the state of Arizona. Anjum and her team have won a number of design and community development awards, the latest one being a creative award for an elementary school for homeless children in Tempe, Arizona. She currently resides Phoenix along with her husband Uday.



Dr. Quasar Saleem

Dr. Quasar Salem Padiath is a research scientist at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research), Bangalore. He received his MBBS degree from Kilpauk Medical College (Dr. MGR Medical University), Madras and his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has also carried out Post Doctoral research at Stanford University, USA and the University of California, San Francisco, USA. He works in the field of Human Genetics. His major focus of interest is to try and identify genes which are responsible for complex neuro-psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.



Dr. Unnikammu
Moideenkutty

Dr. Unnikammu Moideenkutty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, College of Commerce and Economics, Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman. He teaches Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development and Change and Management Skills. Dr. Unnikammu received his Master's degree in Organization Development from Bowling Green University, Ohio and PhD in Business Administration from the Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University, Philadelphia. He is also a Certified Transactional Analyst (Organizational). His research interests are broadly in the area of the nature of supervisory-employee relationship and its impacts on employee attitudes and behaviors. He has presented papers in several international conferences including the Academy of Management Conference, British Academy of Management Conference, and Australia-New Zealand Management Conference. His papers have been published in a number of international journals including Applied Psychology: International Journal of Commerce and Management, Journal of International Academy of Case Studies and Journal of Culture, Conflict and Communications.



Manzur Mahmood

Manzur Mahmood, 45, is a Chartered Accountant employed with Arab Banking Corporation in Bahrain. He is keenly interested in human behavioural issues, personality traits and in the psychological aspects of inter-personal relations. His interests also extend to studying the relationship between the corporate performance and the HR policies of companies. He strongly believes that well motivated and empowered employees are the greatest asset that companies possess and that Human Resources should be nurtures to maximize the potential and performance of organizations. Manzur's work takes him to different parts of the world and provides opportunities for professional and social interaction with people from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. In such interactions Manzur attempts to apply some of the concepts of effective "people management" based on the principles of fair-play, Transparency and equal opportunity.

Manzur would like to enhance his knowledge of behavioral science and he recently participated in a TA seminar conducted by ASHA. He hopes that his affiliation with ASHA will better equip him with the formal skills and techniques and concepts required to deal with the day to day issues that confront us all in our professional and social interactions in an effective manner.



Mrs. Sauda

Souda is an economics graduate at present a home maker,mother of 2 strappy young sons both doing their engineering. She is very good with her hands and very much interested in embroidery, cooking etc. Suuda’s strength is her sensitivity to people and their issues. She is very much there to support Ashas activities locally and represent Asha in the absence of other trustees in all areas.
